What is this quality we honor thirst for

Without much our lives go wanting for more

The blessing of others who are close at hand

Enables the joy being part of a band

People you count on will always be there

To comfort and guide and wipe away tears

Laughing cajoling when you don’t make sense

Would rather be with you than anyplace else

Through warnings storm clouds sunshine rain

Ready to navigate all kinds of terrain

Judgment from the back seat leading with presence

No matter your challenge they give their essence

The unspoken promise to be what you need

In all circumstance they come to feed

Reviewing your assets count the value of friends

Buddies are there to help with your ends

How do you attract these gifts to your path

How can you assemble this warm healing bath

It’s easy it’s simple it’s almost child’s play

To get what you want you give it away

Who needs you?

How might you give of yourself and serve them?

Will it cost you anything other than time?

How valuable will it be to them?

What are you waiting for?

Why do you hesitate?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.

My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.

My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
