Energy

What is the force carrying you forward

Propels you gently engagingly toward

First it’s a vision you have for the future

Out in the distance looking to nurture

Once it’s clear what you want to happen

Time to tap passion and to get crackin

The spark of creation is deep in your being

Pure crystal white light no one is seeing

A laser point infecting your cells

Alive with fire ringing your bells

You wake an alarm that summons and musters

Once it’s alive it filibusters

Some call it essence some call it spirit

Some call it god some purely live it

Some call it love some electricity

I say it’s aliveness and eccentricity

When you get quiet perhaps meditating

Tune into what’s coursing in you vibrating

Unleash the power that lives inside you

Aim its direction let it drive the new

What is the vision that drives you?

Have you identified it?

Given it a name?

Realized how it expresses your purpose?

Spend some time thinking about your personal legacy.

What would you like to be remembered for?

What is the contribution you want to be known for?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.

My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.

My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
