Expansion

Time to get bigger grow and be wise

Time to see clearly with heart head and eyes

Time to let go of yesterday’s fears

Whatever’s been holding you back all these years

Time to step into your own sacred now

The presence of moment lets you know how

Reject your tentative hesitant no

You have the power to make it all so

It’s not about magic or your sense of pride

You came with a purpose that you should not hide

Time to start singing the song that is you

Deliver your wisdom until you are through

Find the true chorus that’s waiting for you

They’ll cheer and support hold you when you’re blue

No need to linger it’s already so

For eons of time you’ve been kneading the dough

Be clear of purpose with your strong will

Resolve uncertainty manifest cure what’s ill

Allow the beauty and wisdom you are

To permeate others and carry them far

Fill up what’s missing bring abundance here now

The gift of your giving serves others somehow

No matter the challenge grow enlarge and surround

Let your love encompass permeate and abound

Is there a place in your life in which you need to expand?

Can you identify the fear that has prevented you?

Change? Control? Uncertainty? Money?

Loss of people, place or power?

Have you really evaluated the risks?

What do you really have to lose?

What do you have to gain?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.

My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.

My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
