It’s all improvisation being alive

Responding in the moment is how we thrive

Living right now in the heat of your life

Getting beyond fear cutting through strife

It’s not about planning or controlling our moves

It’s not about scripting or suffering fools

It is about trusting that answers will come

Though sometimes choices leave you on the run

Your thoughts and sensations do impact you

Behavior of others guides what you do

A key to living fostering your happiness

Trust what you create as your god sense

Give yourself permission to follow your heart

Let freedom pervade as you act out your art

Let impulse propel where you want to go

Do not restrict yourself stay in the flow

When you can reflect on what you just did

Validate your aliveness don’t let yourself skid

Let go of self-concepts that hold you in chains

Revel in your footsteps unfold rearrange

Do things usually turn out how you plan them?

Are you always open to the influence of what is happening?

Do you resist modifying direction based on the reality of the moment?

Is that effective?

How might you operate differently?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.

My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.

My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
