Clear crystal silence no chatter or cracks
Stillness serenity stopped in your tracks
Awakened to peace after fight upon fight
Wondering could you last one more night
A calm settles in quieting fear
Anxiety suddenly has disappeared
Longing for solace that rests agitation
At last you have landed alone with elation
What put you through it what sent you there
When you've been through it year after year
What if you learn stop wasting energy
What if you embrace letting go being free
Fear is what does it taking your space
Filling mind body with concerns of disgrace
What can we say about this old churning
It's here to teach us about our own burning
The hope is our deepest wisdom prevails
And we say “no” to ongoing travails
Learning to trust step on the next rung
Trusting that faith will provide a warm hug
What do you know about quiet?
What have you learned from your place of quiet?
Do you have a way of getting to your place of quiet?
What is it?
Is it always available?
What do you do when you can’t access it?
