What is your longing deepest sense of dis-ease

What mandates submerging and buckles your knees

Disquiet inside will not yield or cease

Demanding your focus as you search for peace

A challenge you live with as you go along

Dealing with descent while remaining strong

Longing for a normal predictable life

Pervades your being sleeps with you at night

You can't ignore messages internal

Influencing the path of your innermost kernel

Back to your deep pool looking at this and that

Arising to new life finding where you are at

Each time you go down for more clarity

Each time you dig deeper there's more to see

Each time you ask questions searching for truth

Each time you rise up a new sense of worth

As you run forward immaculate being

Into new chasms that foster clear seeing

Thanking the voices that drive your new depths

Surfacing with so much more self-respect

Each reconfigure and rewiring tryst

Removes from your being old shrouded mist

As you are reborn alive anew

Give thanks to the blessings that honor you

Remember pain awakening you from a dream

Whirling and tossing reveal why you scream

Remember the mission is your deep learning

Reason for being’s not consuming or earning

How are you reminded about the reason you are on this planet at this moment?

Does your awareness of that mission calm you or create a greater sense of urgency?

Do you live in a mix of people committed to some greater mission?

Does that help or hinder you? How? Why? When?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.

My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.

My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
