4 APPRECIATION

Now might be a beginning as you move toward an end
Life can be relentless as it moves through each bend
It serves up surprises while we pretend command
When we chose to draw some cards we can’t predict the hand

I never expected to feel at this depth
To know such emotion be withdrawn from my strength
As I move on stepping into fate
Now I know perspective the value of a mate

How honored I was a fortunate young man
My youthful cavalier missed the value of your plan
When I look back at all I did not see
I want a replay and give more of me

I tell myself I’ll be OK
I’ll travel through trauma return to everyday
As I go through life lessons will come
I’ll get to the bone then know the world from

A new place I’ll inhabit on this sacred earth
With a broader vista more tolerance more mirth
I loved you dear one more than you know
Connected forever souls dancing so
