Apprehension

Sometimes gripped by fear

No matter accomplishments every year

This time land on our face

This time we’ll fall from grace

No matter success we’ve had before

No matter times through a door

Is it real what we’ve done

Can we think we have won

Don’t let me slide from favor

What forces can serve as my savior

Don’t let me tumble from success

I need guidance from helplessness

Longing for something real

Wanting aliveness and to feel

Fear part of the great mystery

On the path to being free

Longing solace reverie real

Rest reflect form my own keel

Apprehension a strong motivator

Catalyzing action making greater

Why fear no matter how many times you have done it successfully?

Irrational mind speaking or real impediments to success?
