Apprehension

At times gripped by fear
Despite honors every year
This time land on our face
This time fall from grace

No matter success before
Or often through a door
Is it real what we’ve done
To think we really won

Don’t let me slide from favor
What forces will be my savior
Fear of tumbling from success
Need to transcend helplessness

Longing for something real
Alive and to feel
Fear part of the mystery
On the path to being free

Longing solace reverie real
Rest reflect with no keel
Apprehension motivator
Catalyze make things greater

Why fear no matter consistent success?

Irrational mind speaking, real impediments or motivations?
