boldness
Boldness
Life is not constant if you really live
Scenarios emerging depend on what you give
Many noble actors fill the set of your stage
This is your dreamscape you get to rearrange
For some life is constant from cradle to grave
Familiar scenarios rarely any waves
For adventurous souls on the path
Hard to predict your next aftermath
As your life unfolds remember what is true
Do not deny feelings let them all come through
Honor the emotions that jump out in front
Choosing to deny them your growth they will stunt
You pay a price for mobility
A cost associates to a life that is free
Always remember where you come from
Pay attention to heartbreaks though they are no fun
Remember the glory remember the fears
Remember your vision through all your tears
It is never easy the path of the bold
Remember cherished memories serve as you grow old
Do you take decisive bold action in your life?
What have been the rewards? What have been the costs?
What do you remember?
Can you think of things that you are proud of because you dove in?
What do you regret more – things you have done or things you never tried?
I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.
My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.
My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
