Choices
Life holds many choices bountiful surrounds
Savor all the perfumes that you find abound
The glitter is attractive as well as the meat
What your “you” engages trust the many treats
The richness is present though sometimes disguised
Capturing your dreams the vision in your eyes
Stay mindful of your wishes and hope they come true
Providing the grand substance that engages you
The glory that is present deep within your eyes
Is not in someone else’s heart or winging in the skies
Look deeply in the mirror see what you have sown
Look through fleshy illusions get close to your bone
Reflect on what you’ve chosen where it’s taken you
Do not nurture fantasy’s that for you are not true
Steadfast in your vision let clear sight be your guide
Do not fear division trust the god by your side
Ask and get your answers courageous listening too
In the frightening hours stay humble deep in you
Remember indecision is just another sign
Let abundance be your teacher all works out just fine
In what ways are you a sum of your choices?
What have your choices delivered to your life?
Are you pleased with the reflection of the choices you see around you?
Are there other choices you might make today?
How might those choices provide more of what you want?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.
My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.
My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
