What do we search for what is our longing?

A place we can rest in and feel belonging

Where we let down rest our cells

Let go of personality chill our real selves

A place we plug into center and source

Waters flow over we chart a new course

The grounding place receives our electrical rain

Comfort simplicity soothe our chattering brain

Warm familiar faces remind us there is home

Conversation connection says you’re not alone

Restful sleep heals you to the bone

Nourishment feeds longing softens existential moan

Here where words of Christ hit us deep

The feelings engendered allows tranquil sleep

So when you get restless insane in your wake

But can’t find the traction enabling your brake

Remember Jesus suggested the answer

The place to plug in and slow down disaster

“When two or more are gathered there is one”

Everywhere community holds connection and bright sun

Do you have a place where you can plug in deeply, rest, and feel home?

Who are the people who provide that?

What specifically does each one provide?

Have you recently thanked and acknowledged them?

Do they understand how valuable they are to you?

How might you inform them?
