Companionship

Feline creatures slithering about

Under foot blocking your route

Sashaying fur all over the room

Feeling low they lift gloom

Sweet things curled in your lap

Sandpaper tongue a Venus fly trap

Beautiful eyes staring agape

Mysterious presence in your landscape

Stalking big ones rule the day

Jumping chasing subduing prey

Fleet fast afoot fastest around

Beautiful coats patterns abound

Long a great source of companionship

Providing solace when you have a blip

Creatures of pure independent means

Obeying commands not in their genes

Wonderful beasts serving us well

Having a few makes your life swell

Looking for respite or retreat

Frolic with cats they’re very neat

Do you find the cats fun? Engaging? Curious? Entertaining? Humorous? Diverting? Helpful? Healing?
