Beautiful coats patterns abound

Long a great source of companionship

They provide solace when you have a blip

Creatures of pure independent means

Following commands not one of their scenes

These wonderful beasts serve us so well

Having a few might make your life swell

When you look for respite or retreat

Go frolic with cats they’re often very neat
