Dancing
Whatever comes at you stay in the flow
Dance on the currents however they blow
Hold dear the visions of your sacred ends
Stay open as circumstance reveals unseen bends
Be careful of rigid people and things
Hard edges stifle creative wings
Accept the detours and challenges please
Allow them to teach how navigating with ease
When confronted by others who need to control
Allow their illusion while you remain whole
It’s not about bossing or being right
It’s peace of mind when you lie down at night
Continue your learning explore many things
Allow fascinations engage other beings
Listen for directions from inside and out
Discern what chance encounters are really about
Let nobility enter your consciousness state
Do not worry too much it’s never too late
Enjoy the simple expect great ends
Joy comes from communion of many friends
Treasure the blessings bestowed upon you
Love all quite freely despite what they do
Laugh at yourself when you get too serious
Allow ecstasy’s flight the unknown and mysterious
What are the places in your life where your thinking has become rigid?
How does holding on to a belief system impact your capacity to learn?
Do you often feel right about things and that you have answers?
How is your thinking getting in the way of your growth?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.
My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.
My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
