Loose ends abound inside and out
This presence evoking a screaming shout
Earnest beginning expectations high
Now fallen shattered you want to cry
Suddenly feeling at the end
No longer excited by your trend
Wanting it different holding high hope
All you feel a sense of “nope”
Each time descended into this hole
Harder to climb out rescue your soul
Strength and resolve harder to muster
Cannot get by on blarney and bluster
Great expectation vision you hold
Daring bravado making you bold
Courage gone fear quiet and cold
All you want someone to hold
Hope and faith waning resolve low
Critical moment to reflect and grow
Let time take you to what’s needed now
Learning and kindness sooth furrowed brow
When feeling down do you explore what’s behind it or just power through it?
Can you recall your most valuable lessons emerging from a place of deep sadness when you explored what the feeling was telling you?
