Landed

Landed

Landed
Inside a body that’s where you reside

Though many spend years locked in their mind

Year upon year on our march through time

We scurry about in the midst of fine wine

We worry about this we worry about that

In our own mindless chatter chat chat chat chat

We live in our heads buzzing about

One day our body calls with a shout

Often an illness accident injury

Forces a pause to find your real “me”

The real you is not just your thoughts and reactions

You’re more than emotions and physical attractions

Finally quiet the whole self at peace

Finally let go some sense of release

Whenever you fear what your past had you do

Establish new perspective with the will that is you

From deep in your belly take over your machine

Let a deeper life force provide a new dream

Sense yourself walking on holy new turf

Finally landed the first time on earth

Embrace new terrain though it feels strange

It might require your whole life rearrange

Enjoy the comfort and serenity it provides

Let it be the sign god stands by your side

If you were walking on completely new ground, what would it feel, look, smell taste like?

Can you go to that place right now and try it on?

How is your life different?

How are others served by the change in your presence?
