Horizon is looking bleak

Fears’ closed throat cannot speak

Where to go when charge is low

Energy wanes no place to go

Longing present cup is dry

Looking up clouds fill the sky

Future vision a blank screen

Screaming inside and you’re mean

Laughter smiles abandoned face

Life’s work gone in disgrace

Loved ones can’t help and they try

Inside out you want to cry

Alarm says wake you say no

Nothing worthy where do you go

Your get up got up and went

Your penny jar paid the rent

The place to turn inside you

Cells say time to renew

Drive to thrive part of your essence

Who you are contributing presence

Do you listen to the wisdom of your observant voice and not your monkey mind?

What happens when you do or don’t pay attention to what is that voice is saying?
