Moving
Moving
Change in the air change deep inside
As we mount up for our next noble ride
Bye to the old hello the new
No mandate to paint in your usual hue
You have been lost you have been found
What keeps on happening goes round and round
Been through it before go through it again
Knowing its fine let’s do it again
Think of the future no dwelling on the past
Whatever weighs on you not destined to last
What has pulled you forward your guiding light
Remember the vision when fear wakes you at night
There is a deep knowing that’s already here
It knows all the footsteps and all the tears
Step into awareness of that consciousness
Allow deeper wisdom and loving kindness
Float across the changing chasm land like a feather
Suddenly know an end to stormy weather
Let this mindful presence quiet concerns
As you grow and change thru turns upon turns
What do you believe in?
What is at the core of your faith that keeps moving you forward through changes and adversity?
What is the driving force in your life?
Where do you turn when all seems to be crumbling around you?
How does that help?
I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.
My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.
My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
