Passages

Begin again renewed one time more
Midnight’s passage rough one for sure
Tossing turning burning the heart
Raging fire paused a new start

The way we process musings internal
Night sweats terror fear eternal
Our vehicle complex fine-tuned machine
Serving us nobly dream after dream

When a dark passage moves your soul
Wonder speculation a need to be whole
Never sure why inquiry prevails
As you traverse endless travails

Not about conquering mountains deep seas
About mastering mind quieting disease
The journey of a conscious soul
Compassion acceptance fill your humble bowl

Imminent death wonder was I all I could be
Did I share myself with friends gracefully
Remember it’s not about the dollars you reaped
Do those around you enjoy peaceful sleep

Why are you here at this time?

What else might you do to fulfill your life purpose?
