Pathfinders
For some it’s easy locating their path
They travel the road cut by everyone’s swath
They accept well traveled direction
Releasing questions thoughts reflection
For many this works out fine
They take care of dear ones and toe the line
Others are restless minds won’t shut down
Life’s about searching on untrodden ground
They can’t stop exploring where few dare to go
These unyielding seekers must follow their flow
Sometimes the cost many sleepless nights
Sometimes their flights cost them their lives
They always question the status quo
Wanting to improve things and help others grow
“Wake up” they say to those in dream sleep
Take hold of your soul it’s all you can keep
Awaken to the power within
Don’t listen to others saying you cannot win
Live experience the emerging who you are
Explore with your courage becoming your star
What path have you chosen in this lifetime?
How restless are you? Have you chosen a path that is well worn by others?
Are you satisfied with the path you are on?
What course corrections do you want or need to make?

I have always been a seeker, always looking for the answers to what seekers ponder. I can remember Dr. Maxwell Maltz and Psychocybernetics; Dr. Carl Rogers On Becoming a Person. Moving through my legal training and practicing law the focus was always about people and how to better their lives. All that searching, reading, studying and introspective work culminated in this collection of daily readings for seekers.
My work in the world has progressed from fighting legal cases to mediating divorces to helping people understand the essentials of relationship and collaborating to these poems. How can we collaborate effectively and work with each other in harmony to create the world we seek. How can we mindfully enable this world to become a place that works for all.
My prayer is that through introspection using these poems as a guide we can all grow together in making the world the Heaven on Earth we all aspire toward.
