Be still quiet listen to god
Speaking inside your private pod
Providing wisdom and spark
Shining a light when dark

Your path not for the meek
Strength courage continually seek
Strip everything to bone
Who’s there when alone

Behind your chatter and hum
Beneath knowing where you are from
Deep in caverns of each cell
Far down where you dwell

Visit often this blissful place
As living moves at its frantic pace
Check in know it feels right
Connect to essence day or night

In the recess god bubbles up
Let the nectar fill your cup
Not a grand plan from afar
In quiet splendor you really are

What’s required to get still and hear voices deep inside?

What keeps you from that time and space?
