Sometimes we’re lucky in our time on earth

After many lifetimes understanding what we’re worth

The idea of only one birth one life seems incomplete

Since life has many chapters each time we grow new feet

Skin we choose to live in constricts who we are

Those that resist growing do not go very far

We have many choices each molt starts within

Shedding a thick cover a door to where you’ve not been

Changing habitual thinking guides your new behavior

First transform the inside then change how you labor

After a short time your life is renewed

When you shed old skin your tether is unglued

This practice I speak of not only for the few

It’s available to anyone who wants life to renew

Step out of your old self leave the old coat behind

Walk for a while buck naked let go chattering mind

You’ll see many choices come up on your screen

As you invent the next scenes of your new life dream

Choose wisely the next context for new lessons to emerge

Take flight and see phoenix arise from what was submerged
