Rememberance
Rememberance
Alone we are born alone we die
In between aloneness sometimes we cry
Often our life aspires to delusion
As we fight and battle inner confusion
Every so often awake from this dream
Experience the sweetness of your biological machine
It’s not very often that oneness visits
Somehow we know the wholeness in us
We come for the lessons on our pilgrim’s path
A major challenge to avoid our own wrath
Only in a body do we get to feel
All the emotions in the animal sphere
Living can be disjointed on this human plane
Contrast the unity of the plane from which we came
In the higher dimension a place we call home
There is no alone we’re part of the whole
Memory of this unity can haunt life on earth
No matter how noble or genteel our birth
So as you search for a path back to your god
Please not too serious and do wink and nod
What do you remember about your other worldly experience?
How do those memories inform or guide your life?
If you don’t recollect what memory would you like to have if you did have one?
How would that imagined memory serve you?
