Resilience

Life has moments up down
One day royalty next a clown
Message in all the haze
Success demands being brave

Answer to winning your game
Keep going infamy or fame
Lesson on your trip
When you fall only a blip

Get slapped in the face
Other cheek heat of the race
Get up stay down
Stand tall rarely frown

Simple refrain get up again
Engage each morning then
Quality thinking keeps you on track
Not all you do it’s how you act

Choose to stay in the game
Correct missteps try again
Ribbons await a resilient soul
Bounce again refuse acting old

Last time you were knocked down what did you think and how did you react?

How did you get from there to where you are?
