Soften

Opening up letting go

Softening heart will let you grow

Embracing others with compassion

A solid platform for new action

No longer gnarling in a tight fist

Suddenly life takes on a new twist

All the new choices laid at your feet

Amazing renewal snatched from defeat

Holding positions traps your whole being

When you are rigid you cannot be seeing

Now is the time for you to begin

Give yourself the feeling of a big win

Let yesterday’s “right” melt inside your heart

Let love melt the barricades that keep you apart

We all get to choose to be happy or right

One locks you in prison the other gives flight

So as you go and as you grow

There is one blessing you need to know

Just give the love you long for yourself

It will return from everyone else

Are there any belief systems you feel right about that get in the way of your capacity to connect and sustain relationships with others?

Are these belief systems moral imperatives or is there room for other equally acceptable realities?

What have you been holding onto that you can easily let go of?

What gifts will you receive?
