Transition

Transition
What happens periodically you must off yourself

Life becomes incongruent you became someone else

Your actions betraying a deeper sense of being

Harder to observe yourself from this new place of seeing

Surroundings you live in imprisoning your soul

No matter where you turn or run you do not feel whole

It’s time to rearrange things shed a too tight skin

Time to repot yourself again redefine your personal win

You must kill off your old self say good-bye leave you behind

You have to walk your lonely path so searching you can find

A new space in alignment with who you must become

A self-concept that supports and makes you feel as one

Time to leave some places and people behind

Time to cross some rivers let go of old binds

Time to find more wisdom both within and without

Time to be with sages who cultivate your self-doubt

Clearly there is sadness aloneness emptiness too

There is fear and some concern what will become of you

This is the life you’ve chosen maybe you’ve no choice

Take solace in your consciousness someday you will rejoice

In what ways are you carrying old and habitual ways of thinking and being?

What are the practices that enable you to feel current, in the moment and fully alive?

How do you prevent inertia from setting in?

Where do you go to molt?

How do you help those around you with your transitions?
