This moment I can embrace

My life might be disgrace

Lost connection to things real

No longer know what I feel

Pontificating like I know

Deep inside feeling low

This charade not forever

Need for ballast anchor tether

Here crying inside

Denying sadness false pride

Heavy heart

Time ticking for new start

Circle of life a wheel

Opportunity sense and feel

Part of the journey rise from muck

Again and again out of stuck

One thing certain in life

You will be tested with strife

Not whether sadness or difficulty befalls

Can you resiliently answer calls

When down use your head

Chose life no staying in bed

Treats follow patience never hate

Be sad when not feeling great

When fearful and desperate how do you talk to yourself?

Can you embrace the situation as temporary?

What will you do next time?
