Welcome to PilgrimsPath.life

Friends,

Thank you for subscribing.
For many years it was my daily practice to journal as a way to start the day. It was usually about one page of long hand automatic writing. In the fall of 2000 I was at a retreat on Whidbey Island in Washington State when my first poem emerged, twenty lines of rhyming iambic pentameter. Over the next three years I continued to produce poems. I would write down a one-word title, whatever subject was on my mind, and out would come about twenty lines of rhyme.  I must admit to then feeling more of a transcriber/curator/steward than a poet. That has changed.

Between 2003 and 2010 I produced an occasional poem.  I also developed the facility for creating these rhymes on demand for special occasions. For her thirtieth birthday when I asked my niece if she liked the roses I sent to the restaurant where the family was gathering she said yes but was wondering where her poem was. In about fifteen minutes she had one! I understand that before written history wisdom was passed along orally in the kind of verse I was producing. Around 2010 I had the journals digitized and edited by a poetry professor from Cal Berkeley who was very encouraging. Over the past few years I have been polishing, adding reflective questions and attributing poems to calendar days. That process is complete so I consider the manuscript complete.  (I’ve also learned it’s never done…) I’m now feeling some urgency to get these out so that’s what I’m going to do. My thinking is that if you read and reflect on the daily entry it will serve to help you develop more:

  • mindfulness
  • self-awareness
  • emotional intelligence
  • intimacy and connection
  • deepening of relationships
  • friendships
  • personal power
  • business results
  • transparency
  • happiness
  • alignment

My promise is that if you faithfully read the poems and respond to the reflective questions your life will change.

It has always been my intention to serve the purpose of providing information and tools that would help organizations and individuals be more effective which for me translates to getting what they want including having the kinds of relationships they want.  Over this time I have come to know that organizational and relationship success  depend on individual capacity.  Because I believe this body of poetry will serve personal alignment and congruence it will enable individuals to be more effective in any relationships.  At some point you will have the option to receive daily poems as part of a paid subscription. The complete offering will include :

  • Daily poem and self reflection in written, audio and video form
  • Access to the private and confidential Facebook Forum
  • Downloadable eBook
  • Hardcopy Book

It has been my pleasure to learn and grow with you on line since 1998. I’m excited about sharing the wisdom that has been coming through me. In many ways it is an adjunct that has formed and informed all the work I have done with many organizations over the last twenty-five years. My sense is that some wisdom forums and new projects and relationships will be born from this context.

Welcome to this new adventure…I’m looking forward to helping make the world a more habitable, inspiring and friendly place.
