The value we bring the potential so strong

Time to realization may not be that long

Time for expansion of the work to abound

The value of structure for me so profound

On the verge of this new partnership

What will emerge on our great ship?

I’m willing to push from my end

Though that habit has not always been a great friend

Pushing the edge I sometimes wilt

Though I rise to the top through settling silt

The good news I can reach the shore

If I let go of armor and reach for more

After the struggle the push and the strive

I don’t know how I’ve stayed alive

As I look out for what’s next

Thirty more years how can I be my best

I will not go out in flames aglow

I’ll pass quiet in the night with what I know
